NNLM
National Network of Liturgical Musicians
The work of the NNLM in many ways complements the revision of the Roman Missal. The new English translations of the Mass texts bring beauty, nobility, solemnity and a sacral tone to the language of the liturgy. The task of the NNLM is to bring that same beauty and nobility to the music that is used in the liturgy.
In 2016 Judith Courtney, from St Mary's Parish, Papakura, Auckland was appointed to the role of Liturgical Music Project Coordinator. One of her first tasks was to reactivate the working committee for the National Network of Liturgical Musicians. Diocesan members are:
Maureen Smith - Dunedin
Nicola Mountain - North Otago
Ken Joblin - Christchurch
tbc - Wellington
tbc - Palmerston North
tbc - Hamilton
Eileen Barrington - Auckland
Judith Courtney - Auckland
